Andrea Bocelli and his love affair with Miami

Many things aligned for an exceptional evening: on April, the Italian classical tenor Andrea Bocelli in tandem with strong-voiced Cuban soprano Maria Aleida and billionaire developers Jorge Pérez and Gil Dezer hosted a charity concert on the sands of the beach in front of Armani Casa Residences. The artist performed for more than 250 guests, with an opera repertoire of Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Jacques Offenbach, Friedrich von Flotow.

Italian superstar Andrea Bocelli took the stage to sing making the crowd jumping to their feet in front of upcoming Residences by Armani/Casa. There is really no way to explain the phenomena that is Andrea Bocelli, especially when it is accompanied by pianist Lola Astanova and singer Maria Aleida.

The concert raised more than $600,000 for the Andrea Bocelli Foundation’s (ABF) projects in Haiti (ABF has been helping five Haitian communities among the poorest and most remote, starting with education building street schools.), and was followed by a VIP dinner that included celebrity guests like supermodel Petra Nemcova, Dolphins star Jay Ajayi, philanthropists Ugo Colombo, CEO Kamal Hotchandani.
